We are honored to have worked with Brother Rafael for many year. During
his service in De La Salle College in Jordan, he has become a well known personality in the Jordanian society.
He has always
expressed his enthusiasm, love and admiration for us, the Jordanian
people.

We first saw Brother Rafael in Amman as a pioneer, during the early years of our
school existence. In the early eighties his superior appointed him
Headmaster in our school where he promoted the values which are dear to
him: service of the poor, education as a liberating force. During his
terms of office Brother Rafael has always taken the educational
challenge with great vigor, advocating high-quality and professional
education programs, fraternal and supportive relationships among
teachers and administrators.
Brother Rafael’s pleasant disposition facilitated the interaction with
the parents, with his partners and associates in a powerfully effective
way that has been an example to us.
Frederick Koening once mentioned that happiness comes not from getting
something we lack, but from the recognition and appreciation of what we
have. We have indeed been fortunate to be able to work under the
guidance of Brother Rafael. We thank him for his selfless devotion to
our school and his commitment to our country, Jordan. We remain indebted
to him; the difference Brother Rafael has made is nothing short of
legendary.
